Les petits soldats

"C'est ca, la vraie vie?"

En allant voir les enfants-soldats du Liberia, Francois Margolin pensait rencontrer des victimes. Il a certes trouvé des enfants qu'on a forcés à faire la guerre, mais aussi beaucoup d'autres qui ont basculé dans la violence presque "naturellement". Certains l'ont fait pour se venger d'exactions commises à leur encontre, d'autres parce qu'ils avaient perdu leur parents et pensaient trouver dans la rébellion une nouvelle famille. Le documentaire, construit exclusivement sur leurs témoignages, donne libre cours à leur parole, très crue. Chacun décrit les exactions et les atrocités qu'il a subies ou infligés. Posément et apparemment sans haine. Et si la violence n'est jamais montrée à l'image, elle est omniprésente dans les mots et les regards.

What a weekend!

So the concert is over, our friends from LookHomewardAngel have gone home and we survived. This weekend was really memorable. We'd like to thank Rebellux for helping us organise the concert, LookHomewardAngel for coming over and playing a wonderful performance, and not to forget those people who showed up that evening and gave us their support!!! Maybe we'll post a report of the events here. Just stay tuned.

Blank Promise cancelled

We are sorry to say that "Blank Promise" can't make it for our concert in Derenbach. We try to find a replacement for them. However, "Look Homeward Angel" can still make it as scheduled. Preparations for the concert are going fine.

Concert Derenbach

The next concert is on 19th August in Derenbach, near Wiltz. It is organised with the help of Rebelux (big thanx guys). We also invited two German bands from Munich:
