MIGRATION IS NO CRIME!
Hey Ho folks!
here's a video which describes the situation which we sing about in our song "migrant song":

The video shows the situation of migrants, mainly from Afghanistan, trying to cross the Turkish - Greek border into the EU.
The inspiration for our song came from the time I was in Malta which faces the same influx of migrants, most of them from Africa, and the same inability to deal with the situation. During the summer months the Maltese newspaper reported nearly every day of capsized or intercepted boats with migrants and the death of many of them.
A disturbing evolution of the migrant situation is that the Italian government under Berlusconi made it a criminal offense for fishermen to pick up migrants in the sea even if the latter are clearly in difficulties.
Hope, this is not too depressing. Try to ask questions: where are migrants coming from, why are migrants leaving their homes, why are the migrants risking their life to come to Europe? You might find solutions by asking these questions.
